Nato (Natalie) Gengiuri<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head of the University Quality Assurance Service, Head of the Quality Assurance Office of the Faculty of Arts Sciences (2007-2025), Media and Management, Art Historian, Professor, Doctor of Art History, Chair of the Art History Section of the Dissertation Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1992, Gengiuri graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (specialty - art history). Her thesis was defended in the Georgian Academy of Sciences of G. Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On several occasions, she was the scholarship holder of the German academic exchange program (DAAD) and within the framework of these projects, she worked at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Humboldt University in Berlin, Frankfurt University and Free University of Berlin. She was a member of the Immovable Monuments Commission of the Ministry of Culture, at the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has published more than 60 publications and popular science articles. Among them are monographs, textbooks, books, works published in Georgian and foreign scientific journals, and books and collections published under her editorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been a speaker at numerous local and international scientific conferences, a participant, author, and leader of grant projects. She is the head of the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in the field of art history and the chair of the dissertation council's art history section. She is the founder and chair of the board of the Georgian Association for the Study and Popularization of Cultural Heritage \"Signet.\" She is a member of the Munich Association \"Late Antique Archaeology and Byzantology,\" among others. She supervises the scientific work of doctoral students and is a scientific advisor for dissertations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the founder and organizer of the university's annual Student Conference<\/a> and the International Conference of Arts Researchers.<\/a> On her initiative, the scientific journal \u201cInternational Journal of Arts and Media Researches\u201d<\/a> (previously \"20th Century Art\" until 2021) was established, for which she continues to serve as the chief editor and publisher. Under her leadership, numerous international projects have been implemented (including the participation of theater and cinema university students in international workshops and conferences in Florence, the Erasmus+ project, and international conferences).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientific interests: history and modernity of architecture, cultural heritage of Georgia, issues of art history and theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
