Davit Janelidze<\/strong> \u2013 Film director, Professor. Dean at the Film and TV Faculty<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1980, he graduated from the Shota Rustaveli State Theater Institute, Film Directing Faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Film director, member of the European Film Academy (EFA). Member of the Georgian Cinematographers' Union. Winner of the Grand Prix at three international film festivals (Alma-Ata 1986, Mannheim 1987, Montpellier 1992); has received prizes at the Riga, Munich, Jerusalem, Tbilisi, San Francisco, and Rotterdam international festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is the editor of two books \u2013 Otar Ioseliani \u2013 \u201cLouis\u201d; Rezo Esadze \u2013 \u201cBialoni\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winner of several competitions announced by the Georgian National Film Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chairman and member of the jury of various international film festivals (Lodz, Baku, Batumi, Plovdiv, Tbilisi, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founder, artistic director and director of several student and youth film festivals (\u201cWe Are Coming\u201d, \u201cCecil\u201d, \u201cAmirani\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Member of the commission for several creative competitions of the Georgian National Film Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
