Theatre critic, Doctor of Art History, Professor of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, Director of the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific-Research Institute of the same university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1986, he graduated from the Shota Rustaveli State Institute of Theatre in Theatre studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1991-1994 \u2013 Postgraduate studies at the Shota Rustaveli State Institute of Theatre and Film of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1994, he defended his dissertation on the topic: \u201cGeorgian Classical Prose on Stage (1970-1980s)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1986-1989 \u2013 Ministry of Culture of Georgia. Inspector of the Department of Drama Theatres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1989-1993 \u2013 Union of Georgian Theatre Workers. Responsible Secretary of the journal \u201cTheatre and Life\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1993-1997 \u2013 Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University. First deputy editor, then editor of the newspaper \u201cTheatre and Cinema\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 1994 to the present \u2013 Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, lecturer. He lectured in the following disciplines: History of Georgian Theatre, Theatre Criticism and Theory, History of Georgian Theatre Directing (five groups of theatre scholars graduated from the specialty under his leadership).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1994-1997 \u2013 Principal Researcher at the Scientific Research Centre of the same university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1995-1998 \u2013 Deputy Director of the Georgian Theatre Publishing House \u201cGeorgian Theatre\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These publications have been published since 1985 in the following periodicals: newspapers: \u201cTheatre and Cinema\u201d, \u201cGeorgian Theatre Day\u201d, \u201cLiterary Georgia\u201d, \u201cNew Generation\u201d, \u201cIveria-Express\u201d, \u201cDuruji\u201d, \u201cDroni\u201d. Magazines: \u201cKhelovneba\u201d, \u201cMnatobi\u201d, \u201cTheatre\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
