Journalist, PhD in Journalism, Associate Professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She graduated with Honors in 1976 from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Philology, specializing in Journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2009, she was awarded a doctoral degree after successfully defending her dissertation titled The Main Socio-Political Aspects of the Georgian Press in 2000\u20132005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2004 to 2017, she served as a lecturer at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2017, she has held the position of Associate Professor at the same university. Since 2021, she leads PhD programme Culture in Media. Her current course load includes the following key subjects: Mass Communication; Internet Journalism and Social Media; Media Law, Media Ethics and Self-Regulation; Analytical Journalism; Print Media; Freedom of Expression; Media Management; Media and Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
