Principal Researcher at the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific-Research Institute of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University. Chair of the Institute's Scientific Council. Art historian, Doctor of Arts Studies (Ph.D.). Member of the Academic and Dissertation Councils of the University, invited lecturer. Founder, compiler, and publisher of the annual Art Researches, journal published by the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific-Research Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a degree in Art History. Defended a dissertation to obtain the academic degree of Candidate of Art History (2003).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2022, curator of educational programs at the Union of Tbilisi Museums. For many years (2010\u20132022), she served as the curator of the museum division at the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia and was a member of the agency\u2019s Cultural Heritage Council. She is the author and co-author of various museum concepts, as well as permanent and temporary exhibitions. Former Head of the Strategic Planning and European Cooperation Division of the Department of Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture, Monuments Protection and Sports of Georgia (2004\u20132009);\nHead of the Division for the Protection of Movable Monuments at the Monuments Protection Department of Georgia (2002\u20132003); Coordinator of the State Program for Registration and Documentation of Movable Heritage at the Ministry of Culture of Georgia and member of the Commission for the Study of Authorship of Niko Pirosmanashvili (2001\u20132002); Expert at the Ministry of Culture of Georgia (1995\u20132002).\nFaculty member of the Department of Fine Arts at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University since 1992; Associate Professor since 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Author of more than sixty publications, including monographs such as: Theatrical Architecture in Georgia (2005), Was There a Theatre in Uplistsikhe (2009), Essays on the History of 19th Century Theatre Architecture (2020), The Theatre Institute\u2019s Artists, 1940-1960 (2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has also published books, collected volumes, scientific and popular-scientific articles for various publications and encyclopedias. Author of the book series Museum, History, Artifact (five books published). Compiler and publisher of the scientific session and publication Pirosmani Today (2019). Co-author and organizer of the annual scientific conference Museum and Cultural Heritage (2014\u20132022); compiler and publisher of the conference proceedings (2014\u20132023). Editor of numerous publications, chief editor, and editorial board member. Author of art history research for rehabilitation projects of cultural heritage monuments. Speaker at more than thirty international and local conferences. Participant in many international projects, including: European Researchers\u2019 Night \u2013 \u201cCAPTAIN \u2013 Science is the Captain\u201d, Lectures from the Open Museum, The Personal or Private File of Niko Pirosmanashvili, Culture Beyond Borders (Poland), Microhistories of Eccentric Modernism \u2013 Modernism exhibition, D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany, Pirosmani \u2013 The World of a Lonely Genius \u2013 N. Pirosmani exhibition, Tallinn, Estonia, Twinning Project (Denmark), Dutch Centre for International Activities (SICA) \u2013 Netherlands, Architecture and Art of the Qajar Period \u2013 Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, Norwegian Model for World Heritage and Archaeological Site Management \u2013 Norway, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, Cairo \u2013 Cultural Heritage Management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She teaches courses at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgi State University including: Museum and Museum Management, Cultural Heritage \u2013 Protection and Management, and others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
