Tamar Kutateladze is a principal researcher at the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific-Research Institute of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University. Theatre scholar, Doctor of Art History.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1989, she graduated from the Faculty of Theatre Studies of the Shota Rustaveli State Institute of Theatre and Film of Georgia (currently the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University). She defended her dissertation on the topic \u201cTheatrical Aesthetics of Director Shalva Gatserelia\u201d (2003).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1990\u201394, she was the head of the literary section of the Georgian Theatre for Young Spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1993, she has been a principal researcher at the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific-Research Institute of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2009-2011, she headed the master's group \"The Performing Art of the Actor\" at the same university (together with Prof. Sh. Gatserelia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2015-2017, she held the academic position of Assistant Professor at the same university. She lectured in the disciplines: \"History of the Georgian Theatre\", \"Forms of the Performing Art of the Actor\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2015, she has been leading the elective lecture course \"Reconstruction of the Performance\", \"Theatrical Metaphor\", \"Academic Theatre and Its Performances\". In different years, she was the supervisor of a number of bachelor's and master's theses, a reviewer-opponent of bachelor's, as well as bachelor's, master's and dissertation theses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepared textbooks \u2013 \u201cEncyclopaedic Dictionary of World Theatre\u201d (2011), \u201cEncyclopaedia of Georgian Theatre Art\u201d (two volumes, editor. V. Kiknadze, 2007\u20132015), collection \u201cShalva Gatserelia-80\u201d (2011), \u201cTextbook of the History of Georgian Drama\u201d (2014), \u201cShalva Gatserelia, Director\u2019s Notes\u201d, 2016), monograph \u201cShalva Gatserelia\u2019s Theatre\u201d (2017), auxiliary textbook \u201cMise-en-scene\u201d (2021), reviewer of textbooks \u201cHistory of World Theatre\u201d \u2013 Book I, Book IV, Book V, (2017, 2021, 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has published more than 100 publications, reviews and scientific papers in journals and scientific collections: \u201cTheatre and Life\u201d, \u201cTheatre\u201d, \u201cTheatre and Film Studies\u201d, \u201cArtistic Sciences Studies\u201d, \u201cART Researches\u201d and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2008, she has been a speaker at all local and international scientific conferences of the University of Theatre and Film. She is a co-author of the project \u201cHistory of Georgian Theatre\u201d (textbook).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
