Qualifications: Romance-Germanic Philology, Graduated Germanist, Teacher of German and English Languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1983-1985 Postgraduate student at the Department of German Philology, Tbilisi State University, 1986 defended her PhD thesis on the topic \u201cThe Influence of Lexical Factors on the Mechanism of Verb Genus in Modern German\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1992 \u2013 Completed her doctoral studies at the University of Leipzig, Germany, and there defended her doctoral thesis on the topic \u201cThe Category of Reflexivity in Modern German \u2013 Grammatical Status and Forms of Expression\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1982 graduated from the Jena School of the Arts, Germany, with a degree in vocals (mezzo-soprano).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1988-1990 \u2013 Research Fellow at the Department of German Philology, Tbilisi State University. 1990 \u2013 1992 \u2013 Senior Lecturer at the Department of German Philology, Tbilisi State University. 1992 \u2013 1995 \u2013 Professor at the Department of German Philology, Tbilisi State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1995 she was awarded the academic title of Professor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1995 \u2013 2006 Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Linguistics, Tbilisi State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2006 to the present \u2013 Visiting lecturer at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2010, she has been teaching the course \u201cAdaptation of Literary Text in Theatre and Cinema\u201d, and at the Conservatory \u201cAdaptation of Literary Text in Opera\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
