Dean of the Faculty of Drama at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University of Georgia Doctor of Arts, Associate Professor A graduate of the Shota Rustaveli State Theatre Institute with a qualification in Drama Theatre Directing. he also completed studies in Art Management at the International Academy of Management and Performance (UniMan) in Grenoble, France. he holds a PhD in Arts.
1988–1993 – Assistant Director at the Department of Acting, Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State Institute of Georgia
1993–1996 – Lecturer at the same institution
1996 – Promoted to the position of Senior Lecturer
1996–1997 – Visiting Specialist and Group Leader at the Department of Theatre, Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey)
2008–2010 – Assistant Professor, Faculty of Drama, Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University
2010–2014 – Head of the Quality Assurance Office, Faculty of Drama
2010–present – Associate Professor and Group Leader, Faculty of Drama
2014–2022 – Visiting Lecturer at the Batumi State Art Teaching University
2020–present – Dean of the Faculty of Drama, Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University Professional Experience: he has directed over 80 theatrical productions in theatres and universities across Georgia, Poland, Romania, Turkey, and Russia, as well as on Georgia’s First Public Television Channel. Recognition: Recipient of numerous international awards and honors for his artistic contributions.
