International Relations Office
The main goal of the International Relations Office is to promote integration and internationalization processes of the university in international scientific and educational spaces via optimal use of existing resources and attraction of new funds. Abovementioned entails mobility of students, academic and administration staff, joint educational programs, co-operation within research and creative projects, present capabilities and resources of the university within Georgia and beyond its borders.
To foster the internationalization process, the basic funsctions of the IR Office include:
- Promoting establishment of modern educational system in accordance with international standards;
- Strengthening existing institutional and international collaborations with partner universities, international organizations, funds and accredited diplomatic corps in Georgia;
- Promoting membership of the university or its particular faculties in important international organizations and networks;
- Promoting integration process of students, academic and administration staff in international educational processes (mobility/exchange programs), international festivals, conferences, master classes, seminars and workshops;
- Dissaminating information regarding international scientific and educational programs;
- Developing partnership mechanisms on the international level and conducting joint international projects in accordance with university objectives.
