Ekaterine Tabukashvili is a associate researcher at the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific Research Institute of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, an art critic.

Since November 2019, she has been working as a research associate at the Dimitri Janelidze Scientific Research Institute of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University.

In 1991, she graduated from the Faculty of History of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, specializing in Art History, with the qualification of Art Critic, with honors.

2015 - 2021. She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, Business and Management of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, in the direction of Art Criticism.

In 1990, she worked as an art critic at the Creative Workshop of Monumental Art.

In 1991-1992, she worked at the Institute of Journalism, teaching a course in art history and theory.

In 1992-1993, she worked as an art teacher at the Varketili Foreign Languages and Mathematics Secondary School.

In 1993-1994, she worked at the Institute of Architecture, teaching a course in art history and theory.

In 1994-1995, she worked at the Georgian Sh. Rustaveli Theater and Film Institute, as a senior laboratory assistant at the Faculty of Drama and Performing Arts.

In 1995-2008, she worked as an employee of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Tbilisi State University.

In 2000-2001, she worked at the D. Guramishvili Pedagogical Institute, where she lectured on the history and theory of art.

In 2004-2006, she worked as a teacher at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Tbilisi State University, teaching the theory and practice of recreation.

In 2006-2008, she worked as a trainer for the Fine and Applied Arts subject at the National Curriculum and Assessment Center of the Ministry of Education and Science on issues of curriculum implementation and piloting.

In 2008-2009, she worked as a trainer for the professional development training program for public school principals.

From 2009 to 2022, she worked as the Senior Coordinator of the Educational Service of the National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Georgia.

Since 2009, she has been the editor of the journal Ancient Art Today.

2010. Editor of the book “Monuments of Cultural Heritage of Georgia”.

2011. Worked as a trainer for teachers on the subject standard guide for fine and applied arts.

Editor of the guide “Uplistsikhe Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve”. 2011.

Author of the guide “Gremi Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve”.

Since 2015, he has been the responsible editor of all publications prepared by the National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Georgia.
