The Rector’s Office was established on April 1, 2023, to support the Rector in the execution of their duties.
Functions of the Rector’s Office:
- Ensuring effective cooperation between the Rector and the University’s structural units through efficient communication;
- Organizing and supporting the University’s external relations and meetings with third parties, including hosting official delegations and missions from foreign countries, representatives of international organizations, as well as members of Georgia’s legislative, executive, judicial, and local self-government (administrative) bodies, and other legal and natural persons;
- Organizing the Rector’s visits in external relations with the University’s partner institutions, organizations, and legal and/or natural persons;
- Supporting events held at the University and/or with the University’s involvement, within the scope of its competence;
- Monitoring the full implementation of the Rector’s assignments, instructions, and orders by the University’s structural units and position holders;
- Managing the University’s social media platforms;
- Facilitating student and alumni employment and career development, and related activities.
The Rector’s Office is structurally subordinate to the University Rector and is accountable to them.
