
Art criticist, Doctor of Arts, Assistant Professor.
Graduated from the Faculty of History of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, majoring in Art History. Defended her dissertation at the G. Chubinashvili Institute of Georgian Art History of the Georgian Academy of Sciences.
She lectured at various universities. Since 2007, she has been a teacher at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University of Georgia, and since 2015 she has been an Assistant Professor. She is the secretary of the Art History Section of the Faculty of Art Sciences, Media and Management.
She leads several lecture courses at all three levels: History of Costume, History of World Art, History of Georgian Art, Decoration of Georgian Manuscripts and others.
She is the author of four monographs and one textbook. One monograph, which concerns the Holy Trinity Church of Tbilisi, has been published in seven European languages. Her research papers are published in both American and European scientific collections. She also participates in local and international scientific conferences held in Tbilisi.
Her scientific interests include Georgian painting, both in the Middle Ages and in modern times; Iconography.
She is a member of the University Representative Council: 2018-2022 and 2022-present.
