Tamta Turmanidze, an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Media and Management participated in the international conference "Narrating Lives": International Conference on Storytelling, (Auto)Biography and (Auto)Ethnography", which was held from May 30 to June 1 of this year in the city of Cagliari, Italy. The conference was organized by the London Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies, the Institute for the Study of Mediterranean Countries' History (ISEM), and the Italian National Research Centre (CNR).
At the conference, Tamta Turmanidze presented a paper titled "Landscapes of Childhood: Geography of Rezo Gabriadze's World", in which she analyzed the foundations of Rezo Gabriadze's creative method and the characteristic details of autobiographical narrative expressed in various media (cinema, theater, literature).
Tamta Turmanidze also participated in a discussion where she spoke about the character of contemporary Georgian culture and traditions.
