Mission of University
Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University LEPL is an important center of higher academic education in the field of arts in Georgia. Mission of University is to develop and research the field of arts, bring up high-qualified specialists and professionals. University represents a team of students, professor-tutors, artists, researchers, administrative and supporting staff, by the means of united, harmonious collaboration of which is created a united area of creative development and scientific researches, also important and solid ground for development of fields of art (theatre, audio-visual, choreographic, music) within the borders of the country and beyond it. Mission of the University is to be the international center of sharing experience, creative relations and dialogue of cultures.

Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University LEPL by the year 2024 is a famous and recognized university, oriented towards a unique and modern way of progress, having rich traditions of art profile, which, by the means of creative advancement, innovational methods of teaching-learning and researching, courses, educational programs, creative projects, arts sciences, researches of international importance and various high-quality services in the field of media, tourism and management responds to the principal challenges of modernity, serves the development of the fields of art and holds a leading position among the higher education institutions of Georgia, Caucasus region, Europe and Asia.
