
Nana Dolidze

Doctor of Arts, Associate Professor, Head of the Quality Assurance Office at the Faculty of Drama.
In 1991, she graduated from the Shota Rustaveli State Theatre Institute with a degree in Film Studies. In the same year, she also completed a course in Journalism.
In 1997, she defended her dissertation on the topic: "The Cinematic Adaptation of David Kldiashvili’s Works in Georgian Cinema."
Since 1991, she has held various academic and administrative positions at the same university, including: lecturer, leading researcher at the Scientific Research Center, head of the academic department, head of the Faculty Editorial Council, and deputy chair of the dissertation council.
Since 2006, she has been an Associate Professor at the Shota Rustaveli State University of Theatre and Film of Georgia.
From 2013 to 2017, she was the curator of the film sector at the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.
From 2017 to 2018, she served as the Head of the Education Department at the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia.
From 2018 to 2021, she was the Head of the Culture Department at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Georgia.
She is the author of the monograph "Cinema and Classical Literature", co-author of a textbook, and author of over 40 scholarly articles and publications in the fields of cinema, mass communication, media studies, and culture. She has served as a jury member at numerous local and international festivals and competitions and has presented at various local and international academic conferences. She is also the author and head of the projects "Restoration and Digitization of Georgian Film Heritage" and "Repatriation of Georgian Film Heritage". She has participated in and led several grant projects in the fields of culture and education.
Since 2021, she has been serving as the Head of the Quality Assurance Office at the Faculty of Drama at the Shota Rustaveli State University of Theatre and Film of Georgia. She teaches the following subjects: Creative Foundations of Journalistic Mastery, Methods of Media Propaganda, Key Trends in the Development of Mass Communication, Genre and Thematic Structure of Television, Cinema and Television, Television and Audience, Methods of Media Text Analysis.
