In 2003, graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University with a specialty in film studies. In 2008, defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Development Trends of Spanish Cinema from Franco to Almodóvar" and was awarded the degree of PhD in Arts.
Since 2019, has been giving lectures as an invited lecturer at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University. Since 2021, has been elected to the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Media and Management, specializing in world cinema history.
As an invited lecturer, has given and continues to give lectures on film history at other higher education institutions in Georgia.
Author of one monograph, co-author of a supplementary textbook, has published scientific articles in both local and foreign journals.
